Landscape architects, designers to gather in Galveston this week

SanLuisNite.pngWe’re excited to announce the Triple-S Compost team will be in Galveston this week to attend the Texas ASLA Conference & Expo April 28–30 at the Galveston Island Convention Center. The show makes a return to in-person participation after the pandemic cancelled ASLA events in 2020.

The Texas ASLA event brings together industry professionals ranging from landscape architects and designers to urban and master planners to arborists and sustainability experts for three days of educational sessions and presentations as well as exhibits to showcase the latest products, services and trends across the industry.

Triple-S Compost’s Grant Hileman says landscape architects have long understood the value of using premium, all-organic materials in their projects. “Landscape architects and designers know specifying higher-performing materials helps them provide longer-lasting projects that help their clients deliver on sustainability. We couldn’t be more excited to come back together with our colleagues and partners and show the breadth and depth of our product line and our expertise.”

Calling the event a hybrid conference, organizers say participants can choose between in-person and virtual attendance. In addition to limited vendor participation and one-way show traffic, extensive safety protocols will be in place throughout the venues, such as mask requirements, sanitizing stations, safe spacing and touchless badge registration. The conference also allows participants to enjoy the conference from the comfort of their home or office workspace, interacting with peers and colleagues virtually. Conference sessions will be streamed live via Zoom, while the expo hall can be explored via the conference app or participant websites.

With Texas cities and communities continuing to grow at impressive levels, Hileman said urban planners and landscape architects are increasingly challenged to create and deliver projects that are not only beautiful and engaging but also healthy for the environment. “From LEED-compliant cityscapes and rooftop gardens to installations of master-planned communities and everything in between, our complete line of recycled, premium materials delivers on performance and sustainability, while giving designers the flexibility to specify unique, custom blends.”

The Triple-S Compost team will be in Booth #715. Visitors can see and touch our full line of high-performance, green-recycled soils, composts and mulches, and spend quality one-on-one time with our experts discussing your project needs and challenges.
